Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Wilmington is seeking a CDL Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of building materials within a 200-mile radius. You will inspect vehicles, verify inventory, photograph deliveries, and coordinate with customers to place materials on site.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement, a current DOT medical certificate, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Training provided for fleet systems and on-site operations.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Must operate forklifts safely and communicate effectively in English.
• 18+ years (21+ interstate/hazmat); pass background checks, drug tests and E-Verify.
• 1–2 years of relevant commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, verify inventory accuracy, and ensure secure, damage-free deliveries.
• Assess job site conditions to prevent hazards and collaborate with customers for material placement.
• Document deliveries with photos per company policy.
• Load/unload with forklifts or manually; adapt to varying weather and noisy environments.
