SRS Building Products - Lansing is seeking a CDL Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of building materials to job sites within a 200-mile radius. You will verify inventory, maintain safety standards, and support exceptional customer service on every drop.

The role requires a valid CDL A or B with air brakes, ability to operate forklifts, and comfort reading English documents. Expect long days, varied weather, and a focus on reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Must operate forklifts/Moffett's safely, work in varied conditions, and communicate effectively in English. Candidates must be 18+ (21 for interstate/hazmat), pass background checks, drug tests, and E-Verify, and verification via the FMCSA's Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, verify inventory, and ensure secure, damage-free deliveries.
• Assess job site conditions to prevent hazards, collaborate with customers for material placement, and document deliveries with photos per company policy.
• CDL Drivers must be physically capable of long hours driving and handling materials up to 100 lbs; loading/unloading with forklifts or manually; read job-related documents in English.
