Job summary

SRS Distribution is seeking a CDL Driver to ensure safe, timely deliveries of building materials within a 200-mile radius. The role emphasizes safety, inventory checks, on-time service, and professional interactions with customers.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, load and unload up to 100 lbs, operate forklifts as needed, and read job documents in English. A valid CDL A or B with air brakes and a clean driving record are required, along with FMCSA compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement.
• Clean driving record; 18+ years old (21+ interstate/hazmat).
• 1–2 years of relevant commercial driving experience.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and read English documents.
• Background checks, drug tests, and FMCSA Clearinghouse verification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure secure, damage-free deliveries.
• Assess job-site conditions, coordinate with customers for material placement, and document deliveries with photos.
• Load/unload materials up to 100 lbs; operate forklifts when needed; work in varied weather.
