Job summary

SRS Building Products in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking a CDL Driver to ensure safe, timely deliveries of building materials to job sites within a 200‑mile radius. You will verify inventory, follow DOT and OSHA guidelines, and collaborate with customers to place materials correctly.

The role requires a valid CDL A or B with air brakes, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. You will operate forklifts when needed and comply with background checks, drug tests, and FMCSA

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement.
• Must have clean driving record and be 18+ (21+ interstate/hazmat).
• 1–2 years of relevant commercial driving experience.
• Background checks, drug tests, and FMCSA Clearinghouse verification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and verify inventory before deliveries.
• Coordinate with customers for material placement and document deliveries with photos.
• Safely load/unload materials up to 100 lbs and operate forklifts as needed.
