Job summary

SRS Building Products in Mobile, AL is seeking a CDL Driver & Crane Operator to safely transport building materials within a 200-mile radius. You will operate trucks, cranes, forklifts, and assist with on-site loading while maintaining DOT compliance.

The role requires pre- and post-trip inspections, strong safety awareness, and excellent on-site customer service. Candidates must have a valid CDL with air brakes, NCCCO crane certs, and pass background and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Proficiency in routine maintenance and safety checks.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical systems.
• Experience operating crane-equipped trucks.
• Forklift operation certification preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and OSHA safety standards.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication).
• Skilled in pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Capable of conducting job site inspections and reporting conditions.
• Strong adherence to safety protocols.
• Clean driving record (no hit-and-run, DWI, or DUI in past 36 months).
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver building materials within 200-mile radius, DOT-compliant.
• Operate cranes and forklifts; coordinate with rooftop loaders.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document deliveries with photos.
• Provide excellent on-site customer service and support warehouse operations.
