Job summary

SRS Building Products - Cartersville is seeking a CDL Driver to safely deliver building materials to job sites within a 200-mile radius, inspect vehicles, and maintain inventory accuracy while upholding top service standards.

The role requires a CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement, a clean driving record, 1–2 years of commercial driving experience, and the ability to operate forklifts. Expect long hours, varied weather, and a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Must operate forklifts safely, work in varied conditions, and communicate effectively in English. Candidates must be 18+ (21+ interstate), pass background checks, drug tests, and E-Verify, and verification via FMCSA Clearinghouse.
• 1–2 years of relevant commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, verify inventory accuracy, and ensure secure, damage-free deliveries.
• Assess job site conditions to prevent hazards, collaborate with customers for material placement, and document deliveries with photos per company policy.
• CDL Drivers must be physically capable of long hours driving and handling materials up to 100 lbs. Responsibilities include loading/unloading with forklifts or manually, working in varied weather and noisy environments, and reading job-related documents in English.
