Job summary

SRS Building Products in Mobile, AL seeks a CDL Driver & Crane Operator to safely transport building materials within a 200-mile radius, operate trucks, cranes, and forklifts, and perform DOT-compliant inspections.

You will document deliveries with photos, coordinate with rooftop loaders, provide on-site customer service, and support warehouse/yard operations while upholding safety standards. Requires valid CDL with air brakes, NCCCO crane certification, and DOT/OSHA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL driver's license with air brakes endorsement.
• Proficiency in routine maintenance and safety checks.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and OSHA safety standards.
• English reading, writing and verbal communication.
• Experience operating cranes and forklift-equipped trucks.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Clean driving record with no major incidents in 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver building materials within a 200-mile radius, following DOT regulations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and operate cranes and forklifts.
• Coordinate with rooftop loaders to ensure accurate, damage-free deliveries.
• Verify inventory, document deliveries with photos, and assess safety risks on job sites.
• Provide on-site customer service and support warehouse/yard operations.
