Job summary

Rexel USA, a leading electrical distributor, is hiring a Branch Driver to join the Platt team in Pocatello, ID. The role delivers products to customers and branch locations in a delivery van, with no CDL required, and requires safe, accurate handling of materials.

You will inspect the vehicle daily, load and unload materials, prepare delivery paperwork, and follow DOT and safety rules. A valid driver's license is required, and readiness to train for entry-level roles is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver’s license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to/from customers, branch/warehouse locations, and suppliers in a delivery van or box truck.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and complete inspection reports.
• Load or unload material, ensure accuracy and damage-free condition.
• Prepare and sign delivery receipts, packing lists, and manifests.
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery as needed.
• Maintain documentation and assist with branch operations as required.
• Mentor entry-level drivers as needed.
