Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Branch Driver to join the Platt team in Pocatello, ID. The role involves delivering products to customers, branch locations, and suppliers in a delivery van or box truck, with no CDL required.

Senior drivers will mentor entry-level drivers and ensure accurate loading and documentation. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, loading/unloading, DOT compliance, and thorough delivery paperwork.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.
• Must understand DOT and local driving laws/regulations.
• Ability to lift and handle loads up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to travel to offsite locations.
• Experience loading/unloading and documenting deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle and complete a daily inspection report.
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; report needed repairs.
• Follow DOT, local and state driving laws/regulations.
• Load or unload vehicle and verify material for each order (quantity/type; undamaged).
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery.
• Ensure delivery documentation is completed and signed by customer.
• Handle material returns and verify condition and quantities.
• May travel to supplier locations as needed.
• Senior Driver will train/mentor entry-level drivers.
• Perform other branch duties as assigned.
