Job summary

AbbVie in North Chicago seeks a Project Truck Driver to safely perform pickups and deliveries for AbbVie and vendor sites in Lake County, supporting Construction Services with tools, materials and equipment.

You will load/unload trucks up to 27’ box, ensure safety, maintain customer relations, and coordinate delivery schedules with group leaders and estimators in a dynamic, hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent driving skills and strong customer service.
• Must be able to read and write, follow instructions, and use a computer for tracking.
• Forklift license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to AbbVie and vendor locations within Lake County, up to 27’ box trucks.
• Load/unload materials, tools, and equipment as required.
• Maintain safety, follow procedures, and coordinate with group leaders on workload.
