Job summary

Viking Electric in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a full-time Driver to deliver electrical products to customers. You’ll start with pre-trip inspections, load materials, complete local deliveries, and assist customers with unloading. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and strong customer service.

Expect a 6am–3pm schedule, Monday–Friday, with hourly pay between $27 and $32 plus benefits. Valid Class B CDL, ability to lift up to 85 pounds, and DOT fitness clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license - Class B CDL
• Be at least 21 years old
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
• Ability to lift packages that could weigh up to 85 pounds
• Ability to pass and maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
• Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)
• Basic English communication skills
• Willingness to learn how to operate equipment
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route
• Transport and deliver products to customers with care
• Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
• Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers
