Job summary

Viking Electric in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Delivery Driver Class B CDL for local, full-time work delivering electrical products from our warehouse to customers. You will perform pre-trip inspections, load materials, and ensure accurate, safe deliveries with strong customer interaction.

Requirements include a valid Class B CDL, being at least 21, ability to lift up to 85 pounds, pass a DOT physical, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL and a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to pass and maintain DOT physical.
• Ability to lift up to 85 pounds.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract).
• Basic English communication skills.
• Willingness to learn equipment (training provided).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route.
• Transport and deliver products to customers with care.
• Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers.
• Fill orders and issue materials and supplies per requests.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, hand trucks or dollies.
• Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Other warehouse duties as assigned.
