Job summary

Viking Electric, part of the Sonepar family, seeks a Warehouse and Delivery Driver in St. Cloud, MN. You will perform local deliveries, inspect vehicles, load and unload goods, and maintain customer relations while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a Class B CDL, ability to lift up to 85 lbs, and DOT physical compliance. Comp is hourly with benefits; training provided and opportunities for growth within Sonepar.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL and active driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to lift packages up to 85 pounds.
• Must pass and maintain DOT physical.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Willingness to learn operating equipment (training provided).
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Minimum 1 year related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route.
• Transport and deliver products to customers with care.
• Unload items during deliveries and assist customers with unloading.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous demeanor with customers.
• Load/unload trucks and move boxes using a forklift or pallet jack (training provided).
• Count and record items entering or exiting the warehouse.
• Use handheld scanner to track inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack and route material for delivery or storage.
• Ensure products are orderly and undamaged, follow warehouse safety.
