Job summary

Watkins Distributing is seeking a Driver Helper to support local delivery activities within a defined territory in Idaho. The role involves assisting with safe loading/unloading, filling shelf and cooler space, rotating products, and coordinating with drivers and store staff.

Applicants should have a valid driver’s license, good time management, and strong communication skills. The position may require lifting heavy cases and operating basic handheld devices during deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and no major driving violations.
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Must be able to navigate a hand truck full of product.
• Ability to utilize standard handheld computer input/output devices.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver product in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
• Unload product from trailer using a pallet jack and/or hand truck.
• Fill all cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of delivery.
• Rotate all product according to company standards.
• Pick up empty keg shells, damaged items, or mis-ordered product for credit.
• Communicate effectively with delivery drivers, sales representatives, and store personnel.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
