Alvéole Partnerships seeks local beekeepers to partner as Urban Beekeepers in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. This 1099 contractor role offers flexible time commitment and the chance to share beekeeping expertise with engaged communities.

You’ll travel to client sites, lead workshops, log visits with digital tools, and contribute to pollinator education while harvesting honey and maintaining colonies.

Qualifications

• Hands-on beekeeping experience and knowledge of hive health and seasonal management.
• Ability to service hives on a recurring schedule throughout the season.
• Comfort using mobile tools to log visits, tasks, and data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain honey bee hives at client sites on a three-week service cycle.
• Install new hives and related equipment at client locations.
• Conduct routine hive inspections and maintenance.
• Harvest honey and manage delivery from hives.
• Collect samples and field data to monitor hive health.
• Complete accurate digital records and service reports.
