Job summary

Cedars-Sinai is hiring a Lobby Services Associate to greet visitors and provide essential information, helping ensure a smooth patient and visitor experience across the campus. You will be the welcoming point for guests and play a key role in guiding them to the right departments.

You will handle inquiries, direct phone calls, provide directions, and assist with escorting patients when needed while maintaining a clean and professional lobby area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service and/or front desk experience required.
• Three years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors; provide information and literature; answer and direct phone calls to appropriate departments.
• Escort visitors as needed and assist with transportation directions across the campus.
• Ensure visitors reach their destination by giving directions or escorting them safely.
• Maintain lobby/office area; keep informative literature available and area clean and professional.
• Conduct screening protocols in alignment with CDC and CDPH guidelines; use visitor management software.

What will you be doing in this role?

The Lobby Services Associate performs a full range of customer service duties to ensure that visitors are greeted and provided all information vital for efficient patient and visitor experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide information, wayfinding tools and literature to visitors. Answer and direct phone calls and route inquiries to other departments in the organization or supervisor as appropriate. May collaborate with other departments and/or resources to ensure a positive visitor experience.
• Greet and work with all visitors as they arrive or exit. Acquires vital information to provide appropriate informative assistance back to all visitors, including securing transportation.
• Ensure that visitors and/or patients reach their destination by providing directions, instructions and/or directly escorting them safely across the campus.
• Maintain lobby and/or office area by ensuring all informative literature is available and that area is kept clean and professional.
• Conducts screening protocols in alignment with CDC and CDPH guidelines.
• Processes visitors according to current visitation guidelines utilizing visitor management software program.
• Conducts patient lookups utilizing CS Link.
• Provides patient escorts for procedure patients.
• May help triage patients according to organizational guidelines.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED - required

Experience:

• One (1) year of customer service and/or front desk experience required.
• Three (3) years of experience preferred.
