Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Lobby Ambassador in Omaha, NE to greet visitors, manage access, and support a welcoming, professional environment at a logistics and distribution site.

You will document security-related information using computer or tablet systems and collaborate with team members to address concerns. This is a full-time role with day shifts and a starting pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by Allied Universal.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Manage the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate entry records.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and available communications systems, reporting unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as needed.
• Support a professional reception environment for a logistics and distribution location by directing guests, coordinating with onsite personnel, and helping to deter unauthorized access.
