Job summary

Hotel Bourré Bonne in Louisville, KY is seeking a friendly, energetic Lobby Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team in this part-time role. You will craft cocktails, pour bourbon, and deliver memorable guest experiences in an upscale boutique hotel.

Welcome guests, take orders, enter them into the POS, and collaborate with hotel teams to ensure seamless service while following safety and responsible-service guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bartending or beverage-service experience required.
  • Enjoy creating genuine connections with guests.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; flexible scheduling.
  • Must meet Kentucky requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and genuine approach.
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, bourbon, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Recommend drinks based on guest preferences and provide knowledgeable service.
  • Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the POS system.
  • Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Keep the bar clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready throughout the shift.
  • Complete opening, closing, and daily bar duties.

Job Location: Legal Address - Louisville, KY 40202 Position Type: Part Time Hotel Bourré Bonne is looking for a friendly, energetic, and hospitality-driven Lobby Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team in the heart of Louisville.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain proper inventory of liquor, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies.
  • Follow responsible alcohol-service practices and all applicable laws.
  • Verify identification and ensure responsible service of alcoholic beverages.
  • Respond to guest questions and requests with professionalism and urgency.
  • Work closely with the Food & Beverage and hotel teams to provide seamless service.
  • Assist with special events, promotions, and other hotel Food & Beverage activities.
  • Stay informed about hotel amenities and Louisville attractions to assist guests.
  • Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and service standards.
Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Kentucky bourbon and Louisville's bourbon scene.
  • Craft cocktail experience.
  • Wine or spirits knowledge.
  • Hospitality or bartending certifications.
