Job summary

Kiawah Island Golf Resort is seeking an Assistant Manager for our bar/lounge operations. The role focuses on leading the service team, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining efficient restaurant operations.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years F&B service with supervisory experience, strong English communication skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays. Join a luxury resort known for southern hospitality and premium amenities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent life experience in a supervisory role preferred.
• Minimum 2 years F&B service experience; 1 year supervisory/management experience required.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• POS system experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English with guests, coworkers, and management.
• Must work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the service team to high service levels, job satisfaction, and efficiency.
• Ensure 100% guest satisfaction during all meal periods.
• Oversee bar/lounge operations in the absence of the General Manager.
• Assist with scheduling and payroll.
• Develop and implement policies, SOPs and staff training.
• Coach and provide feedback to staff to improve service quality.
