Job summary

Kiawah Island Golf Resort is seeking Club Lounge Attendants to deliver warm, personalized service and maintain an inviting Club Lounge atmosphere. You will greet guests, anticipate needs, and ensure every guest experience reflects true Southern hospitality.

The role emphasizes teamwork, independence, and a professional demeanor while upholding resort standards and safety. Strong communication and a passion for extraordinary service are essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of serving experience.
• Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
• Bar knowledge with some experience serving liquor, beer, and wine preferred.
• Effective conflict resolution and organization skills, professional and cooperative demeanor, and positive energy.
• Passion for providing extraordinary service.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Good to excellent communication in English, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve with warmth and southern hospitality.
• Maintain order of all food and beverage in the Club Lounge.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Club Lounge.
• Service all food and beverage needs of guests.
• Control lounge inventory including food, alcohol, soft drinks, silverware, glassware, china, linens, serving pieces, and buffet presentation pieces.
• Manage time effectively and listen to guest requests with initiative.
• Maintain professional demeanor under all business levels.
• Improvise when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Uphold the resort's core values and policies.
• All other duties, as assigned.

Position Summary

Club Lounge Attendants are expected to always exhibit a great personality with an engaging smile, demonstrate a strong attention for detail, and uphold a high level of standards in order to create an incredible experience for each guest. Additionally, they will communicate guest needs and preferences to ensure the most personalized service possible, all while creating a welcoming lounge environment for all who enter the Club Lounge.

Pay Rate

The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers. Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s actual rate of pay will be determined during the hiring process.

• All other duties, as assigned.

Essential Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift minimum weight of 25 lbs. across short-medium distances.
• Must be able to stand for the entirety of shift while reaching, bending and stooping as needed.
• Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements.
• Must be able to reach, bend, lift, and carry trays / ovals.
