Job summary

Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is seeking a Housekeeping Lobby Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. This role ensures exceptional cleanliness and presentation across the lobby and public areas while delivering outstanding guest service.

The position reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor and Assistant Director of Housekeeping. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, sanitizing restrooms, polishing surfaces, and promptly addressing any maintenance or safety concerns to uphold Five-Diamond

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and equipment.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a shift.
• Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the lobby and all assigned public areas of the resort.
• Clean, sanitize, and service public restrooms to ensure a consistently exceptional guest experience.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, dust furniture, and maintain cleanliness of fixtures and furnishings.
• Clean and polish glass, windows, mirrors, doors, and other public-facing surfaces.
• Monitor public spaces throughout the shift and promptly address cleanliness concerns as they arise.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in assigned areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of entrances, hallways, elevators, and common areas.
• Replenish supplies and amenities in public restrooms and other guest-facing areas.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or repair needs to the appropriate department.
• Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to guests, members, and visitors.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries.
• Follow all departmental procedures, safety standards, and cleaning protocols.
• Support the Housekeeping team in maintaining Five-Diamond cleanliness and service standards throughout the property.
