Job summary

Remington Hospitality is seeking a dedicated housekeeping associate to maintain cleanliness in the hotel lobby, restrooms, hallways, elevators, and meeting spaces. You will dust, vacuum, mop, sweep, and sanitize public areas and respond to guest requests with courtesy.

Responsibilities include restocking supplies, reporting safety hazards, and supporting special cleaning projects. The role requires reliability, punctuality, and flexibility, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hotel experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the hotel lobby, public restrooms, hallways, elevators, meeting spaces, and other public areas.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, sweep, and sanitize all assigned areas throughout each shift.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Clean glass doors, windows, mirrors, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Restock restroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, tissue, and other amenities.
• Monitor public areas for cleanliness and safety hazards and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist housekeeping with special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Maintain housekeeping storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Respond promptly to guest requests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Follow all hotel safety procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or General Manager.
