First United Bank in Lamesa, TX is hiring a Full-Time Lending Assistant/Teller at our Lamesa Banking Center. You will work directly with the Loan Officer to prepare and book customer loans, retrieve supporting documents, and provide high-level customer service.

Essential duties include administrative support for loan officers, processing loan applications, coordinating with loan processors for closing, and participating in bank training while following BSA/AML and all policies.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of banking experience.
• Exceptional customer service and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and written/verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs.

Responsabilidades

• Perform administrative duties for one or more loan officers engaged in commercial/consumer loans.
• Type, file, answer phone, greet and assist customers and prospective customers.
• Assist customers with the loan application, process and prepare applications etc. for the lending officers’ review.
• Coordinate with the loan processors to complete and return the documentation for closing.
• Participates in job specific training, various bank training programs, complies with BSA, AML and all bank policies and procedures as required.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
