Job summary

Sun Loan Company is seeking a Loan Specialist to support the Branch Manager in maintaining a profitable, compliant, and efficiently operated branch. You will process loan applications, verify documentation, service customer accounts, and assist with collections to minimize risk while delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities include contacting customers to collect payments, arranging payment plans, and processing loan modifications.

Qualifications

• 6 months of customer service experience is required.
• Six months of collections experience is preferred.
• Experience in sales, collections, or metrics-driven environments is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers by phone and mail to collect past-due payments and establish payment arrangements.
• Identify opportunities to refinance accounts and assist customers in bringing accounts current.
• Explain loan terms, conditions, and requirements to properly close loans.
• Conduct collection activities on delinquent accounts and maintain accurate records.
