Job summary

GPBANKOK is seeking a Loan Assistant to support underwriting and loan servicing processes in Oklahoma City. The role includes communicating with customers throughout the loan life cycle and contributing to new client relationships.

The position covers commercial, consumer, and real estate loans and requires knowledge of loan policies, data entry, and use of banking software. Training and leadership responsibilities may be included as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; college certificate preferred but not required.
• 2–3 years of similar work experience in banking/loan servicing is expected.
• Ability to interpret instructions and perform loan-related tasks accurately.
• Strong data entry, basic math, and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Process consumer, commercial and real estate loan payments and advances.
• Run credit reports and perform account research.
• Prepare and send commitment, engagement, and decline letters.
• Board and update loan documents in the bank system; maintain credit files.
• Maintain UCC-1 filings and monitor reports; follow up on exceptions.
• Provide customer service by phone or in person; respond to inquiries.
