Job summary

State Bank in Defiance, Ohio is seeking a dedicated loan processor to service consumer, commercial, agricultural and SBA loan files with accuracy and timeliness.

You will coordinate tasks within the unit, respond to inquiries, and maintain servicing records, while following bank policies and regulatory requirements. A high school diploma and at least 1 year of loan processing or servicing experience are preferred, along with strong communication and math skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year experience in consumer or commercial loan processing or loan servicing preferred.
• Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties to service all consumer, commercial, agricultural and SBA loan files; coordinate with unit and other departments; report to supervisor.
• Maintain servicing documentation and process payoffs, adjustments, and modifications.
• Reconcile servicing general ledger accounts and assist with disbursements and reconciliations.
• Coordinate tasks with colleagues to ensure efficient processes and proper segregation of duties.
• Adhere to bank policies and regulatory requirements (CRA, BSA, Equal Credit Opportunity).
• Ancillary duties such as data entry and filing as needed.
