Job summary

Choiceone-Bank is seeking a Loan Servicing Review Specialist to oversee review of daily maintenance for consumer and mortgage loans and handle post-close customer interactions. Reports To: Loan Servicing Team Lead.

The role requires strong attention to detail and knowledge of banking regulations. Primary duties include reviewing Cognos reports, validating boarding data, supporting customers via calls and emails, and producing monthly loan reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years’ retail banking experience.
• Ability to work in an office environment with computer and telephone tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed reviews of daily maintenance changes and updates on Cognos Report.
• Review new consumer and mortgage loan input, verifying boarding data input to core systems.
• Review daily loan operations reports from Synergy and identify customers for review as needed.
• Provide support for incoming customer calls and emails, including loan questions and payoff letter requests.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive loan reports on a monthly basis for publishing.
• Maintain policies and procedures affecting the Loan Operations Department.
• Back up for various Loan Servicing department functions.
• Comply with Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act requirements and report violations.
• Follow all applicable federal and state banking regulations.
