CEN is seeking a Loan Servicing HMDA Specialist II to review loan data in the LOS for HMDA reportability and ensure correct HMDA actions are taken. You will prepare HMDA data for the Loan Application Registry (LAR) and work with multiple departments to resolve data issues, supporting compliant reporting.
Ideal candidates will have a four-year degree, at least four years of related experience, and a solid understanding of HMDA requirements and LOS processes.
The Loan Servicing HMDA Specialist II is responsible for reviewing application and loan information contained in the Loan Origination System (LOS) to determine HMDA reportability, verify whether the correct action as defined by the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) for all related loans has been taken, and perform reporting on the HMDA Loan Application Registry (LAR) for applicable data points.

Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 4 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence. ability to read, analyze, and understand general business/company related articles and professional journals; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
