Job summary

First Entertainment Credit Union is seeking an Associate Manager, Loan Servicing & Compliance to lead post-origination loan servicing, payments, and compliance within the Lending Operations team. This role supports day-to-day leadership, coaching, and escalation handling under the Sr. Manager, with a focus on consistency and accuracy.

The position is full-time, with hybrid work in Hollywood, CA, and reports to the Sr. Loan Servicing & Compliance Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college preferred.
• 3–4+ years of experience in loan servicing, lending operations, lending compliance, quality control or a related function within a financial institution.
• CRCM or mortgage servicing, compliance or similar certification preferred but not required.
• Prior team lead, senior specialist or informal leadership experience required.
• Proficient knowledge of real estate loan servicing workflows and related regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a first-level escalation point for teammate questions, member service issues and routine compliance concerns; escalate complex matters as needed.
• Review routine quality control findings, error trends, servicing exceptions, and compliance observations; coach teammates on corrective actions.
• Perform and oversee real estate loan servicing activities including mortgage and home equity servicing, payoffs, lien releases, escrow administration, insurance tracking and post-closing maintenance.
• Apply knowledge of real estate servicing and lending regulations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and policies.
• Support real estate loan extensions, renewals and modification requests with proper documentation and systems updates.
• Support commercial and consumer loan servicing activities, including borrower communication and payment/loan maintenance.
