Cardinal Capital Group is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Servicing Associate to support the Asset Management team in day-to-day loan portfolio administration. The role spans the loan lifecycle, offering exposure to private lending, loan servicing, and asset management.

The position suits organized individuals comfortable with deadlines and borrower follow-up, with opportunities to grow within a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture and exposure to multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in lending, mortgage servicing, banking, real estate, or legal administration is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with borrower outreach and follow-up regarding servicing requirements and outstanding items.
• Track upcoming loan maturities and coordinate extension requests and required documentation.
• Assist with preparation and collection of extension documents, servicing documents, and borrower correspondence.
• Assist with insurance tracking, including upcoming expirations and collection of updated policies.
• Coordinate payoff requests and assist with payoff and discharge-related documentation. Maintain accurate servicing records within internal systems and Google Sheets.
• Assist with loan onboarding and ensure required servicing information and documentation are properly recorded.

Cardinal Capital Group is looking to add to our team to support the continued growth of the services and construction loan portfolio.

The Loan Servicing Associate will support the Asset Management team with the day-to-day administration and servicing of the loan portfolio. The position will touch many aspects of the loan lifecycle and provides an opportunity to develop a strong understanding of private lending, loan servicing, and asset management.

This role is best suited for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable managing recurring deadlines and borrower follow-up.

What You Will Do

• Assist with borrower outreach and follow-up regarding servicing requirements and outstanding items
• Track upcoming loan maturities and coordinate extension requests and required documentation
• Assist with preparation and collection of extension documents, servicing documents, and borrower correspondence

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

• Strong proficiency with Google Sheets/Excel and ability to learn new technology quickly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable communicating directly with borrowers and third parties
• Bachelor’s preferred
