Job summary

Canvas Credit Union is seeking a Lending Services Specialist I to process loan documents for auto loans, credit cards, and signature loans with accuracy and speed. You will interact with members and staff across branches, the contact center, and online channels to gather and verify documentation.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of loan origination/processing experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with loan origination/processing is preferred.
• National Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) registration is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Process loan documents for auto loans, credit cards and signature loans accurately and timely.
• Obtain and verify documentation from members within service level agreements.
• Prepare and attach documents to loan applications and closings.
• Promote Canvas core values in member and employee interactions.
• Maintain filing systems and ensure compliance with policies.
