Guggenheim Investments in New York seeks an Associate to join the Loan Services team. You will support trade operations, funding, data analysis, and monthly metrics in a fast-paced environment working with traders, credit analysts and legal teams.

The role sits in the New York Office, full-time, offering exposure to bank debt and fixed income securities while partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure timely settlements and accurate processing of loans and related trades.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience in investment management or financial services environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced and challenging environment.

Responsabilités

• Process bank loan transactions across portfolio management systems.
• Book non-loan bookings in Wall Street Office.
• Book loan trade amendments and reallocations.
• Perform daily confirmation of Bank Loan trades in Aladdin.
• Reconcile trades between BRS and WSO; compare loan/trade details across systems.
• Monitor cash/position breaks on dashboard.
• Interface with custodians, trustees, fund administrators, and banks for inquiries.
• Assist with fund audits and business initiatives.
• Communicate settlements to custodians; ensure timely funding.
• Work with borrowing requests in BRS; ensure timely funding.
• Input wires into funding portals.
• Provide settlement packages and documentation.
• Track amendments and restructures in systems.
• Update prices across systems for reporting.
• Develop procedures and controls to increase efficiency.
• Populate trades in systems for analytics data.
• Compile trading metrics for management.
• Ensure trades are booked, reviewed, and closed in ClearPar.
• Review legal documents for assignability language.
• Provide KYC packages as needed.
• Maintain interaction with agent banks and traders to ensure timely settlements.
• Escalate issues to front office and management when necessary.
• Manage amendment workflow with timely votes.
• Maintain liquidity communication with PMs and FX desk when needed.
• Ensure trade fees are booked and invoiced; manage vendor payments.
• Draft manual documents for trades not booked on ClearPar.
• Collaborate with legal/origination teams to facilitate funding.
• Create and present metrics reporting; prepare monthly/weekly management reports.
• Process large-scale loan assignments including CLO warehousing and closing.
