Job summary

Texas Dow Employees Credit Union is seeking a Loan Resolution Counselor 1 to reach out to members via phone, email and other channels, assess their ability to pay, and arrange feasible repayment plans. You will educate members about delinquencies and guide them to resolution options, including payments by phone or transfers.

The role requires strong communication, time management and a customer-focused mindset, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and prior sales/collections experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior sales or collection experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel) expected.

Responsibilities

• Contact members via phone, email, or other channels to discuss delinquencies.
• Determine willingness and ability to pay; set up repayment schedules.
• Take payments by phone or via transfers; educate members on options.
• Trace delinquent accounts and escalate complex cases as needed.
