Job description

CMG Home Loans is hiring an experienced Remote Loan Processor to support Branches in the Central and Eastern time Zone. They are responsible for performing necessary tasks to ensure accurate, compliant, and complete processing of loan files.

Must be currently processing government loans or in the last 6 months to be considered.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

1. Process residential mortgage loans (Conventional, Purchase, FHA, VA, Bond, Non-QM, and Refinance) in accordance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
2. Obtain and review required loan documentation and submit complete loan packages to Underwriting for approval.
3. Manage a pipeline of loans, maintaining a timely and compliant flow through the process.
4. Communicate with loan officers, buyers, sellers, title companies, builders, and agents.
5. Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating and cooperating with all internal and external customers.
6. Monitor and ensure closing dates and company deadlines are met.
7. Obtain and verify that all underwriting conditions are received and cleared, and prepare files for submission to the Closing Department.
8. Stay informed of changes in policies, procedures, standards, and regulations relevant to the mortgage industry, including local, state, and federal laws.
9. Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

1. 4-5 years of retail loan processing experience within the last 6-12 months.
2. Experience processing government (FHA/VA), Bond, Non-QM, and conventional loans.
3. Familiarity with Point required; BYTE experience is a plus.
4. Excellent customer service skills.
5. Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
9. High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Physical and Environmental Conditions

This role operates in an ADA-compliant office environment, utilizing standard office equipment. It may involve stationary work and movement throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime is required to meet deadlines.

Compensation

CMG offers a competitive base salary ranging from $50,000 to $65,000 annually, plus bonuses. Salary factors include experience, knowledge, industry tenure, specific skills, and education.
