Job description

CMG Home Loans is hiring an experienced Remote Loan Processor to support Branches in the Central and Eastern time Zone. They are responsible for performing tasks to ensure accurate, compliant, and complete processing of loan files.

Must be currently processing government loans or have done so in the last 6 months to be considered.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

1. Process residential mortgage loans (Conventional, Purchase, FHA, VA, Bond, Non-QM, and Refinance) following all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
2. Obtain and review required loan documentation and submit complete loan packages to Underwriting for approval.
3. Manage a pipeline of loans, ensuring timely and compliant flow through the process.
4. Communicate effectively with loan officers, buyers, sellers, title companies, builders, and agents.
5. Provide excellent customer service by maintaining effective communication with internal and external customers.
6. Monitor and ensure closing dates and deadlines are met.
7. Obtain and verify all underwriting conditions are received and cleared, then prepare the file for submission to the Closing Department.
8. Stay updated on changes in policies, procedures, standards, and regulations relevant to mortgage processing.
9. Comply with all company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 4-5 years of retail loan processing experience in the last 6-12 months.
• Experience processing Government (FHA/VA), Bond, Non-QM, and Conventional loans.
• Familiarity with Point; experience with BYTE is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• High integrity and confidentiality are essential.

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

This role operates in an ADA-compliant office environment, involving typical office tasks and equipment. Flexibility to work overtime to meet deadlines is required.

CMG offers a competitive base salary ranging from $50,000 to $65,000 annually, plus bonuses. Factors influencing salary include experience, knowledge, years in the mortgage industry, specific roles, computer skills, and education.
