Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Loan Processor or Mortgage Loan Processor.
• Knowledge of residential mortgage lending and processing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Collect, verify, and organize borrower financial documents (income, employment, assets, credit, property).
• Process residential mortgage loan files from application through underwriting and closing.
• Communicate with borrowers to obtain missing documentation and provide status updates.
• Review loan files to ensure compliance with company, investor, and regulatory requirements.
• Submit complete loan packages to underwriting and coordinate responses to underwriting conditions.
• Work with Loan Officers, Underwriters, processors, closing teams to keep loans moving efficiently.
• Monitor milestones, deadlines, and outstanding conditions to ensure timely processing.
• Review disclosures and other loan documents for accuracy.
• Maintain records in the loan origination system.
• Follow all applicable federal, state, and company lending policies and procedures.
• Provide professional and responsive customer service throughout the loan process.
• Identify potential issues early and communicate them to the appropriate parties.
• Assist with ensuring loans progress smoothly through approval and closing.

Qualifications
