Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare loan documents including new loan documents, denials, extensions, and deferrals, ensuring all documents are completed on schedule.
• Balance and prepare settlement statements with title companies for real estate transactions.
• Order appraisals, title work, flood, and other reports on real estate loans.
• Review loan documentation requests for accuracy and completion.
• Communicate loan document information with lenders, loan assistants, and credit administration.
• Schedule loan closings and ensure they are within reasonable expectations that deadlines can be achieved without unnecessary delays.
• Order post-closing documents to protect asset quality.

This position is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of loan documents and plays a critical role in delivering excellent customer service while maintaining attention to detail and meeting strict deadlines.Essential FunctionsRequest and track orders of appraisals, title work, flood, and other reports on real estate loansReview loan documentation requests for accuracy and completionPrepare loan documents based on officer’s request and verify they are in accordance to loan policyBalance and prepare settlement statements with title companies for real estate transactionsCommunicate loan document information with lenders, loan assistants, and credit administrationAssist in reviewing supporting documents such as title work to ensure that exceptions are cleared prior to loan closingEnsure each loan has the required loan documents and supporting documents based on loan type to reduce the possibility of lossPrepare loan documentation including new loan documents, denials, extensions, and deferrals, ensuring all documents are completed on scheduleSchedule loan closings and ensure they are within reasonable expectations that deadlines can be achieved without unnecessary delaysOrder post-closing documents in a manner that ensures asset quality is protectedPosition RequirementsHigh School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required2 years banking experience preferredIntermediate computer skills including MS Word and Excel proficiencyOther RequirementsMust reside in Oklahoma and pass a background and credit checkThis is an in-office position, and it is critical to remain available to team members during business hoursMay have intermittent local travel to other locations for meetings, training opportunities and bank events
