Job summary

Cornerstone Bank NE in Aurora, NE is seeking a Loan Assistant to support branch operations, loan processing and servicing with strong customer service and accuracy. You will join a team that values integrity and community service while upholding Cornerstone Bank culture and mission.

You will input loan information, prepare reports, file collateral documents to perfect liens, and process loan advances and line payments. A high school diploma and 2 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a high school education minimum.
• At least 2 years of equivalent work experience preferred.
• Must be accurate and detail oriented.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interact effectively with bank personnel, management, co-workers and customers.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Sound judgment, courtesy, tact and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Processing of loans for the branch.
• Input loan information and prepare loan reports.
• File collateral documents to perfect lien and process loan advances and line payments.
• May also have back up personal banker responsibilities
