Job summary

Planters Bank in Monroe, LA seeks a Loan Processor to support loan operations and maintain strong customer relations. You will receive and verify loan applications and perform data entry using LaserPro, coordinating with regional offices.

The role requires familiarity with banking regulations and accurate processing, with emphasis on confidentiality and teamwork. Travel for training is possible; the position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• Two years of banking experience with knowledge of banking, federal and state regulatory requirements preferred.
• Experience with LaserPro and Decision Pro Loan Program or ability to learn a new loan program.
• Two years loan data entry and analysis experience preferred.
• Typing, 10-key Calculator, Fax Machine, Photocopier, Proficient Computer skills including Word and Excel programs.
• Good verbal, written and telephone communication skills.
• Good time management and strong organizational skills.
• Satisfactory Credit Bureau and Background Report.

Primary Job Description

To promote and maintain positive relations with all contacts in the processing of the banks loans; receive and verify information on loan applications, data entry using the LaserPro software, remote print files to their respective offices.

Location

The location for this position is flexible with the following location options: Monroe, Indianola, Clarksdale, and Southaven. This position will require travel for training.
