Job summary

United Bank is seeking a detail-oriented professional in Myrtle Beach to support loan underwriting and financial analysis for commercial banking clients.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in financial services, with strong MS Office skills and the ability to train on internal systems within 90 days. Travel within the local market may be involved. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Financial Services required; exposure to Commercial Banking highly desired.
• Prior working experience with loan underwriting and credit training is required.
• Ability to complete system training within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to analyze financial and project statements, corporate and personal tax returns.
• Understanding of loan structures and lending regulations.
• Strong understanding of loan documentation criteria.
• Knowledge of United’s services, products, policies and procedures is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills; Spanish or another language a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer relations and sales skills.
• Self-starter, well-organized, detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Local travel may be required.
