Job summary

Catapult Solutions Group is seeking two Loan Operations specialists to support core banking conversions for financial institutions. Remote-based in the U.S., travel 50-60% to client sites is required. You will guide design, testing, training and implementation across multiple conversion phases.

Ideal candidates have banking and loan back-office experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication is essential.

Supporting Clients

We’re hiring two Loan Operations resources to support core banking conversion, implementation, and operational initiatives for financial institutions. You’ll support clients through every conversion phase, including design, training, testing, and implementation, using your banking operations knowledge and hands-on system experience.

What you’ll do

• Support core conversion projects from design through post-conversion
• Review conversion data and mapping
• Support testing, implementation, and operational validation
• Train financial institution staff on the core platform
• Prepare for and participate in on-site client engagements

What we’re looking for

• Banking industry experience
• Loan back-office operations experience, including unposted items, maintenance, transaction entry, and new account entry
• Strong understanding of loan parameters and configuration
• Payment posting knowledge and escrow administration experience
• Experience on a core banking platform: SilverLake (preferred), CIF 20/20, Core Director, or Symitar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced implementation environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have

• Core conversion or bank merger experience
• SilverLake experience (around 5 years is ideal)
• Experience supporting system implementations, testing, and client readiness
• Experience on other core banking platforms may also be considered

Ideal background: Hands-on SilverLake experience in loan back-office operations is valued more than conversion experience on other platforms.

Travel and schedule

• Remote-based, and candidates may live anywhere in the U.S.
• Travel to client locations nationwide, about 50 to 60% of the time
• Typically 1 to 2 trips per month, averaging 6 to 9 days each
• All business travel expenses covered, including airfare, lodging, meals, and transportation
• Standard hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with extended hours, evenings, and weekends during testing, implementation, and go-live
