Job description

Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Responsible for applying payments to loans, reviewing and evaluating loan applications, making approval or rejection decisions, and handling related administrative duties.
• The Loan Operations Representative II performs various administrative tasks involved in servicing loans.
• Performs routine administrative tasks exercising some judgment and discretion in the performance of duties usually in support of a single unit or team within Loan Operations. Tasks are varied and are usually performed independently within standard policies and procedures.
• May review work of others to ensure accurate processing.
• May perform preliminary research on suspicious items and reports findings to appropriate resource to help prevent fraudulent activities.
• May make entries in general ledger related to paperwork and information processed.
• May approve and review general ledger entries and/or invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• May provide input and assistance to management in developing and maintaining budget as requested.
• May identify, audit, and investigate departmental discrepancies.
• Responds to basic and moderately complex inquiries and issues from customers and internal units.
• Researches information to provide responses and resolution.
• May contact customers to explain items affecting their accounts.
• Follows up with branches and other units to resolve discrepancies and customer issues.
