Job summary

Texas Capital Bank seeks a Loan Operations Funding & Flood Compliance Analyst to ensure accurate commercial loan funding and flood‑related regulatory adherence. You will collaborate with Lending, Credit, Compliance, Legal, and external vendors to close loans on time and maintain portfolio compliance.

You will act as the Flood Compliance SME, review SFHA collateral, obtain required flood insurance, and oversee force‑placement processes while supporting audits and training across teams.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of commercial loan operations experience including funding and closing.
  • 3+ years administering commercial flood compliance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of federal flood regulations and lending compliance.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, exercise judgment and implement solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate loan closing packages to satisfy funding conditions.
  • Execute loan money movements: wires, DDA, GL transfers.
  • Ensure timely funding of new loans, renewals, modifications.
  • Research funding discrepancies and coordinate closings/disbursements.
  • Serve as Flood Compliance SME and ensure SFHA flood coverage before closing.
  • Monitor flood insurance throughout loan life and manage flood docs.
  • Partner with vendors to meet service levels and compliance expectations.
  • Assist audits and deliver training on flood compliance requirements.

Brief Overview of Position

The Loan Operations Funding & Flood Compliance Analyst is responsible for the accurate execution of all commercial loan funding activities and serves as the Bank’s primary subject matter expert for flood compliance. This role ensures all funding transactions, money movement activities, and flood‑related requirements are completed in accordance with Bank policy and regulatory standards.

The analyst partners with Lending, Credit, Compliance, Legal, Loan Operations, and external vendors to facilitate timely loan closings, maintain portfolio compliance, mitigate risk, and ensure adherence to federal flood insurance regulations throughout the life of the loan.

Commercial Loan Funding
  • Review and validate commercial loan closing packages to ensure all funding conditions and regulatory requirements have been satisfied.
  • Execute and monitor all loan‑related money movement activities, including wire transfers, DDA transactions, and GL transfers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely funding of new loans, renewals, modifications, and other closing transactions.
  • Research and resolve funding exceptions, discrepancies, and operational issues.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties to support successful loan closings and disbursements.
Flood Compliance Administration
  • Serve as the Flood Compliance Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Loan Operations Flood Gatekeeper.
  • Review loan transactions to ensure compliance with federal flood regulations and Bank policy.
  • Conduct flood due diligence during loan origination, renewal, modification, and collateral changes.
  • Review collateral located in Special Flood Hazard Areas (SFHA) and ensure required flood insurance coverage is obtained prior to closing.
  • Monitor flood insurance coverage throughout the life of the loan to ensure ongoing compliance and coverage sufficiency
  • Coordinate with borrowers, insurance carriers, and vendors to obtain and maintain required flood documentation.
  • Administer force‑placement processes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Research and resolve complex flood compliance and insurance‑related issues.
Risk, Compliance & Vendor Management
  • Maintain expertise in flood regulations and communicate regulatory changes impacting the commercial portfolio.
  • Partner with the Bank’s flood vendor to ensure service levels, quality standards, and compliance expectations are met.
  • Assist with internal audits, regulatory examinations, and compliance reviews.
  • Develop and deliver training and guidance to lending and operations teams on flood compliance requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance controls, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of commercial loan operations experience, including loan funding, servicing, documentation, closing, or collateral administration.
  • 3+ years of experience administering commercial flood compliance requirements, including flood insurance review and ongoing monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of federal flood insurance regulations and commercial lending compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex issues, exercise sound judgment, and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Preferred

  • Experience with ACBS, Abrigo, collateral tracking platforms, and document imaging systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience supporting regulatory examinations, compliance reviews, or audits.
