Job summary

SFMC Home Lending is seeking a Loan Officer Associate in Plano, TX to assist a designated Loan Officer in originating and processing loans. You will review applications, gather documents, calculate income, and prepare prequalification and initial disclosure packages.

Responsibilities include managing calendars, serving as the primary phone contact, maintaining CRM, and conducting pipeline reviews with daily tracking. FHA, Conventional, VA and USDA financing knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage experience across all loan process areas.
• In-depth knowledge of FHA, Conventional, VA and USDA product financing.
• NMLS License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist designated Loan Officer(s) in originating and processing loans.
• Review initial loan applications and request required documents.
• Calculate income to validate data and review AUS findings.
• Prepare prequalification letters and initial disclosure packages.
• Prepare loan documents for submission and manage the LO calendar.
• Serve as primary contact for phone calls and manage CRM activity.
• Oversee pipeline reviews, tracking and weekly status calls with customers.
• Utilize designated sales tools and reporting methods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Loan Officer Associate assists a designated Loan Officer(s) in originating and processing loans.

Duties include:

• Reviewing the initial loan application.
• Requesting required documents, including follow up if needed.
• Calculating income in order to validate data.
• Running AUS and reviewing findings.
• Preparing and sending prequalification letters.
• Preparing the initial disclosure package.
• Reviewing and preparing loan documents for submission to Processing.
• Managing the Loan Officer(s) calendar, including follow-up, appointment setting and time blocking as appropriate.
• Primary point of contact for phone calls.
• Managing the CRM, including follow-ups with warm leads and closed loans.
• Pipeline management, including scheduled pipeline reviews, daily tracking and weekly status calls to customers.
• Utilization of designated Sales tools and reporting methods.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• 2+ years of mortgage experience, including all areas of the loan process, as well as a thorough knowledge of FHA, Conventional, VA and USDA product financing.
• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree is a plus
• NMLS License required
