Job summary

West Capital Lending in Troy, MI seeks a proactive Loan Officer Assistant to support a high-volume loan officer team from application through closing. You will collect, review, and organize borrower documentation and coordinate deadlines to ensure a smooth client experience.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented, and can communicate clearly with borrowers, lenders, real estate agents, and internal teammates.

Qualifications

• Previous mortgage or financial services experience preferred (LOA, Processor, Jr. Processor, or similar)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple files at once
• Familiarity with mortgage documents, underwriting conditions, and lending guidelines is a plus
• Experience with loan origination software (Encompass, Calyx, Arrive) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support Loan Officers throughout the loan origination process
