Job summary

Panorama Mortgage Group in Georgia seeks a Loan Officer Assistant to act as a liaison between the Loan Officer, borrowers, and operations, ensuring clear communication for a smooth closing.

You will assist with document collection, manage VOEs, stack files, and support the Processor and team with day-to-day admin tasks while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; plus at least two years in mortgage lending or related field.
• Must be highly organized with strong multitasking and detail orientation.
• Strong sense of urgency, responsiveness, and customer service mindset.
• Proficient with data entry, PDF software, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ethical and professional.

Responsibilities

• Assist Loan Officer as needed (minus any licensed activity).
• Assist in collecting missing documentation for loan file completion from borrowers.
• Work with the Processor to collect documentation to clear Loan Officer conditions.
• Update the Loan Officer on status of conditions and copy Loan Officer on correspondence and requests for documentation.
• Ordering verification of employment (VOE).
• Stack file for processing.
• Manage client and referral partner databases.
• Perform basic office functions including taking phone calls, scheduling meetings, making copies.
• Able to comply with the policies and procedures outlined in the Company Handbook.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

Education/Experience

• Demonstrated patience and professionalism when interacting with both internal and external customers.
• Proficiency with data entry, PDF software programs, Microsoft Word, and Excel required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic math skills.
