Jet Direct Mortgage is looking for experienced and ambitious Loan Officer Assistants to join our fast-paced, goal-oriented, and supportive environment.

Here is what we are looking for:

1. Honest, ethical, and hardworking
2. Primary contact between clients and Loan Originators
3. Ability to manage a pipeline and collect documents pertinent to mortgage loan origination
4. Gather files for weekly pipeline review with mortgage processor and provide status updates on each file
5. Contact customers regarding required loan documentation and prepare files for loan officer's review
6. Track all requested documents in Encompass
7. Comply with applicable state and federal compliance guidelines, company policies, and procedures

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 1 year of mortgage or banking industry experience supporting a branch or loan officer
2. Detail-oriented with demonstrated careful decision-making skills
3. Proficient in using in-house technical systems such as Encompass
4. Knowledgeable about regulatory, policy, and compliance issues related to the mortgage industry
5. Ability to meet deadlines while managing a changing workload
6. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
7. This position requires compliance with the SAFE Act and state licensing requirements, which may include background checks, fingerprinting, credit reports, testing, and continuing education
