• Assist Loan Officer in general administrative and clerical duties;
• Obtain loan documentation once loan application is received and ensure all documentation is completed accurately for Loan Officer to proceed to the next phase of processing;
• Schedule appointments, meetings, lunches, and etc. for the Loan Officer and clients;
• Assist with branch marketing efforts to generate leads;
• Complete other duties as assigned.

LOAN OFFICER ASSISTANT – JOB DESCRIPTION

Title Grade: Entry

Reports to: Branch Manager or Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer

Department: Sales

Status: Regular, Full-Time

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Pay Grade: Hourly (DOE)

Work Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Training Location for first 90 days of employment: Ann Arbor, MI HQ

SUMMARY & PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Loan Officer Assistant will be organized with a strong attention to detail. This individual is
expected to exercise significant initiative in the performance of all assigned duties.

PRIMARY POSITION-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Loan Officer in general administrative and clerical duties;
• Obtain loan documentation once loan application is received and ensure all documentation is
• completed accurately for Loan Officer to proceed to the next phase of processing;
• Schedule appointments, meetings, lunches, and etc. for the Loan Officer and clients;
• Assist with branch marketing efforts to generate leads;
• Complete other duties as assigned.
