Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Relationship Manager to join our community banking lending team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in banking or financial services, and a strong interest in developing customer relationships, analyzing financial information, and supporting the growth of loans for the bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides excellent service to both current and prospective loan customers
• Gives financial advice and counsel to customers
• Contributes to profitability and growth of the bank by building, developing, and managing new and expanded client relationships
• Actively cross-sells appropriate banking products & services to new and existing customers and refers clients to other banking areas for additional needs
• Analyzes and forms decisions on loans and terms within established lending limits, or makes recommendations to a superior or loan committee
• Manages a portfolio of loans to ensure compliance with terms and conditions
• Coordinates lending activities with others in the organization
• Coordinates and communicates with Branch Manager to assist with rotations of opening, closing, lunch periods, etc.
• Serves as the main point of contact for loans in assigned branches and serves as backup contact for other branches
• Other duties as assigned
