Job summary

The Loan Documentation Specialist I at NBT performs moderately complex review of post-approval loan documentation to ensure adherence to loan approval, policy and procedures. The role analyzes documents and makes processing decisions per established guidelines, contributing to accuracy and risk mitigation.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred associate degree and customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates Degree preferred.
• Professional or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review business banking, SBA and other loan documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Report any exceptions, escalate risks, and resolve exception items.
• Maintain knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to the position.
• Uphold service level standards and assist with training and onboarding.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
